1. Nature of Service

Deshet provides cultural and educational interpretations based solely on traditional Ethiopian diagnostic practices. The service is not medical, clinical, psychiatric, or scientific in nature. No medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or health claim is made or implied.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Medical Care

Information received from Deshet:

• Must never be used in place of advice from a licensed physician or qualified healthcare provider
• Cannot be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
• Is provided strictly for personal reflection and cultural interest

You are solely responsible for seeking appropriate medical care when needed.

3. No Guarantees

Deshet makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, relevance, or usefulness of the traditional interpretations provided. Individual experiences and outcomes may vary widely.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deshet, its owners, practitioners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or connected to your use of this service—regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable.

5. Indemnification

By using Deshet, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deshet and its representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the information provided.

6. Refund Policy

A full refund will be issued automatically if your personalized traditional assessment is not delivered within 30 calendar days of confirmed payment and photo submission. No other refunds are available.

7. Privacy & Data

• Photographs are used exclusively for your traditional assessment
• Images are permanently deleted within 60 days of report delivery (or immediately upon your request)
• No photos or personal data are shared, sold, or used for any other purpose
• Basic contact information is stored securely and used only for service delivery and refund processing

8. Age & Capacity

You must be 18 years or older and of sound mind to use this service.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States (registered office of Deshet LLC).

10. Acceptance

By completing payment and submitting photographs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully accept these Terms of Service and all disclaimers above.
